Just in case you are a fan of Mini automobiles—classic or modern—and you won't be going to Munich before the end of January 2016, Mini offers you a chance to walk through the special temporary Mini exhibit at the BMW Museum.

The actual exhibit includes more than 30 original cars along with photos, artwork, and background stories. Mini has created a virtual tour that allows you to stroll through the exhibit, select your perspective, and stop and peruse the cars and individual displays.

Do you want to see the very first Mini that came off the assembly line in 1959? It's there. Mini race cars, modern Minis, the Mini Community are all there for you to walk past or stop at.

The navigation may be a little disconcerting at first, until you get the hang of changing your viewpoint, and stopping to highlight the photos, art, and facts just as you would if you were there. Part of Mini's charm is its slightly screwball approach to things and this is no different. Enjoy your walk.—Scott Blazey
