Everyone knows the Circuit de la Sarthe, but you may just call it Le Mans, as the historic 24 Hours of Le Mans is raced there every June. What most people don't know is that there is a smaller circuit that utilizes a part of the Ford Chicanes, the start/finish straight, and the Dunlop Curves before turning into the infield to complete a 2.66 mile circuit.

The Bugatti Circuit may be the unknown little brother to Circuit de la Sarthe in the automotive world, but it does host a round of the MotoGP Championship and has been the site of the 24 Hours of Le Mans motorcycle race that ran from 1978–2012. The circuit has also hosted rounds for the DTM and was the location for the 1967 Formula 1 French Grand Prix.

Sportauto recently took a BMW M235i out for a timed lap and was kind enough to film the ride and post it up on YouTube. Enjoy!—Nate Risch
