Marc VDS finishes fourth in LMGTE and TDS Racing wins GTC at Silverstone

Andy Priaulx, Jesse Krohn, and Henry Hassid in the Marc VDS Z4 GTE finished fourth in the LMGTE class in the European Le Mans Series four-hour season opener at Silverstone. The Z4 started fourth, but it fell back on Hassid’s opening stint when it was caught up in two incidents caused by other cars. Eventually the drivers moved it up as far as third, but after it served a stop and go penalty for passing during a safety car period it fell back, eventually finishing fourth.

The TDS Racing Z4 GT3 driven by Frank Perera, Dino Lunardi, and Eric Dermont started from the pole and won the GTC class, finishing two laps ahead of the second place AF Corse Ferrari.
