Andy Priaulx has added a third series to his 2015 racing program; he will return to the British Touring Car Championship in a West Surrey Racing 125i M sport. Priaulx, who has not raced in the series since 2002, adds the BTCC ride to his ELMS Z4 drive with Marc VDS and his run in a Turner Motorsport GTD in the North American Endurance Cup series, part of the Tudor United SportsCar Championship.

After racing a Honda in BTCC in 2002 Priaulx moved to BMW, where he won four World and European Touring Car championships from 2004 to 2007. He has since raced for BMW in DTM and with BMW Team RLL in the TUSC series.

Priaulx told autosport.com that "BMW have been great to allow me to do this. They've not stood in the way at all. The ELMS is the priority and we've got a lot of commitments, but that is my priority when we get clashes.

"But I am very serious about this. I'm not going to be joining just for one year, my plan is longer term.

"We'll have to see what happens next year but we're all moving into it with a long-term project. I think it can develop into something quite nice."
