BMW Motorsport tested the new M6 GT3 in Monteblanco, Spain, with works drivers Lucas Luhr and Maxime Martin at the wheel.
This week the car will run again in Portimão, Portugal, where the season’s first joint test for all DTM manufacturers is being run. Luhr will drive the car again along with Dominik Baumann, Jens Klingmann, and Jörg Müller.
A racing debut date for the car has not yet been announced. Sportscar365.com speculates that the car will race this year ahead of deliveries to customers for the 2016 season.—Brian S. Morgan
