BMW News

BMW is a global car company that prides itself not just on building top tier luxury and performance cars, but also in what it contributes culturally to its homeland and the countries around the world in which it builds and sells those cars.

BMW’s new booklet, “Part Of,” uses brief narratives and really good photography to tell the story of its international cultural cooperations, especially in the areas of contemporary and modern art, classical music and jazz, architecture, and design.

Maximilian Schöberl, BMW Group’s Senior Vice President for corporate and governmental affairs, said, “International cultural commitment has been an integral part of our corporate culture for more than forty years. The partnerships we build strengthen intercultural dialogue and create platforms for multidisciplinary exchange. Cultural commitment is part of the BMW Group.”

BMW calls “Part Of” a booklet, but it’s 100 pages long. The good news is you can get the digital version free, in English. Visit http://www.bmwgroup.com/culture/overview and view it in your browser or download the PDF and peruse it with your Acrobat reader.

Whether or not you’re into the same cultural areas that BMW supports, “Part Of” presents interesting information and really excellent photos. Some even have cars in them.—Scott Blazey
