One of the great benefits of being a BMW CCA member is the opportunity to meet your idols in one of our Tudor Championship car corral Meet & Greets. This past weekend Ashley Grant was attending the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona and had parked his new BMW M3 in our corral. When Team Turner Motorsport tweeted out to follow their drivers for insight into the race, Ashley thought it couldn't hurt to ask, so he replied back asking if the team would sign his car.

Not only did Turner Motorsport make this happen, albeit with just the engine cover being brought to pitlane, but some of the BMW Team RLL drivers got in on the action! Ashley's engine cover ended up being signed by Turner Motorsport's Will Turner, Markus Palttala, Michael Marsal, Andy Priaulx, Boris Said and BMW Team RLL's Graham Rahal, Bruno Spengler, and Augusto Farfus.

While chatting with Ashley, he told us that the highlight of this great experience was finally meeting Boris Said. Apparently he had been a fan of Boris since he raced in NASCAR almost 20 years ago!

Thanks to everyone that made this happen! It's stories like this that make us happy that BMW Motorsport continues to hire drivers that are not only skilled in the art of racing, but also in their ability to engage with the fans.—Nate Risch
