Join the Allegheny Chapter for our annual gathering at the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix. This year the corral will salute BMW’s classic 3 Series, the E30. If you have an E30 of any year or model, the Allegheny Chapter extends a special invitation to bring your car to this event! As always, all BMWs of any model or year are welcome at this annual gathering.
Friday, July 18th
This year’s Friday drive will head back to the Laurel Highlands where the club is finalizing arrangements to visit the quaint town of Ligonier, PA. We will park near the town square, complete with its gazebo and gardens, from 11:30 am to 2:00 pm. Our visit will coincide with the Ligonier Art’s Festival. After lunch, stroll the artwork or visit Fort Ligonier, one of best examples of a British Fort dating from the French and Indian War. After returning to the hotel late afternoon, our Friday evening welcome reception will take place this year at Sewickley BMW. In conjunction with the BMW CCA Foundation, Sewickley BMW has agreed to let us turn the showroom back to 1988. This should be a great addition to our packed calendar. We are pleased to welcome Erik Wensberg who will be our guest speaker for this event. If you have a 1987 or 1988 BMW in showroom condition, please contact us about the possibility of displaying your car in the showroom!
