Greenville will again host the BMW Pro-Am, part of the web.com PGA Tour, May 11–17. This unique format for a professional golf tournament is an important regional fund-raiser, and the BMW CCA Foundation is pleased to announce that it has been chosen as one of the tournament's official charities. This development opens up exciting opportunities for club members who may wish to get close to the action by volunteering at the event or by attending as a spectator, and in so doing assist the BMW CCA Foundation.

Volunteering

If you choose to volunteer, you can decide how much time to devote and over which days. Over 800 volunteers are needed for the event and in past years have come from as far as Texas and Washington DC. The more volunteers we supply, the greater the benefit for the BMW CCA Foundation. Please visit www.bmwusfactory.com/charity-golf for more information and to register. If you do register, please make sure to nominate the BMW CCA Foundation as your chosen charity.

Ticket sales

As an official charity for the event, 100% of the tickets sales we generate will go to the BMW CCA Foundation. We intend to make tickets available through chapters in the region. The tickets, available from April, can also be sold to other parties such as local golf clubs and church groups. If your local chapter does not have tickets please contact Ian Branston (ian.branston@bmwccafoundation.org). Alternatively, if you choose to purchase tickets directly from the web site listed above, please remember to pick the BMW CCA Foundation for your charitable donation.

Celebrity Pro Am Game

For three players there is a unique opportunity the day before the tournament to play a round at the Thornblade Club along with a Tour Pro and a celebrity. But before playing a round of golf, the players also get a chance to get warmed up at the BMW Performance Center. The BMW CCA Foundation will provide further details about how you can secure one of these highly desirable places.  Additional general details are available at www.bmwcharitygolf.com.
