(March 18, 2014) - The BMW Car Club of America—the world’s largest single-marque car club and the largest association of BMW owners in the world—is proud to welcome Pirelli as the newest sponsor of Oktoberfest 2014. Pirelli has signed on to sponsor the Concours d'Elegance and the Thursday Night Theme Dinner during the club’s premiere annual gathering, held this year in Beaver Creek, Colorado, June 16-20.
The BMW CCA will not only be celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2014, but also the 45th anniversary of Oktoberfest. Oktoberfest is the ultimate weeklong gathering of BMW enthusiasts and BMW cars in the U.S. The week is packed with social and driving events along with a taste of Colorado adventure.
The Pirelli Concours d'Elegance will be held at the prestigious Beaver Creek Golf Club on Tuesday, June 17 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Everything from beautifully restored classics to the latest offerings from the BMW line will adorn the pristine fairways for an elegant display of BMW history. Last year’s Oktoberfest Concours d'Elegance was one for the ages, and this year’s is sure to be no exception!
The Pirelli Thursday Night Dinner will have a special theme this year. Dubbed “Throwback Thursday,” members will dress in apparel from their favorite era with special awards for the best-dressed attendees. The Thursday night dinner will be held at the Gerald R. Ford Hall at Beaver Creek from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. and will feature the iRacing and Odometer Gears TSD Rally awards presentations.
