The tallies are in for the 2011 BMW CCA Charity Matching Funds Program and the results speak volumes about each chapter's dedication to giving back. Congratulations are in order for the Tarheel Chapter which raised the most money at $34,500 for the Michael J. Fox Foundation! Coming in second was the Allegheny Chapter with $28,695 going to the PVGP Association. Third went to Delaware Valley with $15,000 raised for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and an addition $1,000 for Camp Good Days and Special Times. All three chapters did an exceptional job of raising money for their respective charities.

In an effort to promote these types of activities, the National Office has matched each chapter's charitable contributions with a portion of the $20,000 dedicated by the Club to matching chapter donations. The funds will be distributed based on a prorated match.

The Tarheel Chapter was able to raise an incredible $34,500 for the Michael J Fox Foundation through their OBX and BRP Cruz. The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson disease through an aggressively funded research agenda and to ensuring the development of improved therapies for those living with Parkinson's today. The National Office has supplemented the funds raised by the Tarheel Chapter with an additional $5,682 for a total of $40,182. What an amazing accomplishment for everyone involved!

It should be noted that the CT Valley, Genesee Valley, Motor City, San Diego and St. Louis chapters raised over $4,000 for the BMW CCA Foundation with Street Survival Schools which count toward the Charity Matching Fund Program.
