    Positions open for 2013: Treasurer, North Atlantic Vice-President, and Pacific Vice-President

    The BMW CCA Board of Directors represents the BMW CCA membership; as a group, they are tasked with soliciting and employing up-to-date information and the best business practices in carrying out their responsibilities with integrity, honesty, truthfulness, and an adherence to the absolute obligation of safeguarding the members’ trust. They make sense of new information about the Club as it may affect the organization, and demonstrate concern for the interests and well-being of the people affected by their actions.
     
    A candidate for any BMW CCA national office must be a BMW CCA member in good standing; potential candidates are strongly encouraged to contact the National Office for a copy of the qualification requirements contained in the BMW CCA Bylaws and the election rules contained in the BMW CCA Operations Manual.
     
    Nominators must submit written nominations that include the following:
     
    • The name of the nominee and the office for which he or she is being nominated,
    with the name, signature, and membership number of the nominator.
     
    • A statement from the nominee accepting the nomination, with the signature and
    membership number of the nominee.
     
    Each candidate may also include a statement of no more than 300 words and an appropriate passport-style photograph to be published in Roundel.*
     
    The nomination and optional candidacy statement must reach the National Office no later than 5:00 p.m. Eastern time on October 31, 2012.
     
    *Candidates may choose to publish a longer statement of candidacy on the Club website. The 300-word statement published in Roundel may be used to direct members to the candidate’s statement on the Club website. Candidate statements on the Club website may not include links to other websites.
