Fall Drive and Frank Lloyd Wright tour in Mason City IA

BMWCCA IOWA CHAPTER and Iowa Zoomin' Z's SEPTEMBER 27-28, 2025 DRIVE & Frank Lloyd Wright tour Get ready to enjoy a day to drive and learn about Frank Lloyd Wright. Our destination will be Mason City, Iowa. Eastern Iowa members will meet Saturday morning at 8:30am at Fleet Farm on the northwest side of Cedar Rapids (Hwy 100 & Edgewood Rd NE ( 4650 Cross Pointe Blvd NE, Cedar Rapids), have a quick drivers' meeting and hit the road at 9:00am. We will take a break at Grundy Center, then proceed to Sheffiend for lunch with the Des Moines group at Willaby's Brickyard Bistro. Des Moines Area members will meet at 8:30 at BMW of Des Moines in Urbandale, have a short drivers meeting and depart at 9:00. We will meet the Eastern Iowa group in Sheffield for lunch. We will all then leave for Mason City and the Frank Lloyd Wright Museum and designed homes tour. First, we will take a walking tour of the neighborhood of homes designed by Frank Lloyd or his associates. We will then tour The Park Inn, the last remaining Frank Lloyd Wright hotel remaining in the world. Located at 15 West State Street, Mason City, Iowa. Dinner will be at the Park Inn restaurant, Leadlight, at 6:30 pm We will be staying overnight September 27 at the Hampton Inn & Suites, 2111 4th Street SW, Mason City, Iowa 50401 Special rates have been negotiated for $149.00/night (non suite rooms) You have until August 26 to make your reservation.
