I'm in there twice! Both times I'm in the passenger seat.

Riding with my wife on Thursday practice in our 330ci.

And riding with a fellow Nebraskan during his Friday runs!

You guys really brought your A Game from Nebraska. Genuinely spanked 'em.
You beat all but one of the M cars (both days!) and Candy bested all but a half dozen of the M cars.
    Pretty amazing.

Hope Matt wasn't too irritated that I poked fun at him for the cone. Just couldn't resist.

Here are a couple more shots of you two.

Thanks for the photos! My wife and I did better than we expected given the tough competition and the small hiccup we had to deal with on Thursday morning. We discovered that our seat would not move forward or back so we had to improvise our seating position and "make it work" (turns out it was a crimped wire that chose just that morning to fail) I'm almost 5'10" and my wife is 5'4" so it was a challenge to get each of us fit in the car for our runs. Still, the 330ci goes pretty good for being stock other than the cold air intake and the BFG Rivals. It still has the OEM shocks from new in 2002!

The 33.342 posted by the grey Bridgestone car on Sunday was mine as well.

Actually, you did pretty darn well for your first try. Your times beat out several experienced entries.
    You bettered an E30 M3, two other E36 M3s, and several Z3/4 M Coupes/Roadsters.
Walk tall ... ... and by all means, do not let O'Fest be your one and only autocross.

Here are a couple more shots of your day.

It seemed a couple of guys were rather fond of that little car. Both ran quite well.
Was it the car or the drivers? ... hm-mmm

Some harsh grumbling was heard from other competitors about the highly questionable and possibly illegal aerodynamic aid flying from the antenna.

Thanks for the photo! You can actually just barely see my left rear shock absorber dangling in the wind. I'm not sure when The bottom bolt fell off, but I noticed it the next morning filling the tank. I think I might have been able to squeeze out a few more tenths if all 4 shock absorbers were attached...

BTW, both Ken Dawkins and Scott Bowman in 1M's beat out the Satchmobile...

    Quite right.
I actually overlooked the 1Ms, my mistake.

Wow, an errant shock absorber and you still were able to run so fast. A little amazing.
Enjoyed watching you and the other E30s.
I like to stroll down memory lane every now and then.

Just over three months away and already the 2015 O'Fest autocross hype is building.
So far, more than sixty entries registered for the two autocross days with a little bit of everything represented.
    E30s to F30s, E28s to F10s, E82s and F22s, E9s and E63s along with just about every M model ever made.
Even an X1 and an i8!
You never know what you might see.
    It's gonna be fun.
