High Performance Driving School

Registration for the North Star BMW CCA Performance Driving School at Brainerd International Raceway is open! • We will be at BIR Friday, June 5th - Sunday, June 7th on the Competition Track. Saturday & Sunday is our driving school for students. Friday is an instructor/advanced student driving day; please contact us for approval. • ** Saturday/Sunday driving school ** The weekend driving school is open to all experience levels; BMW & non-BMW makes. Our club has years of expertise in offering safe, educational, fun track experiences. Convertibles, t-tops, targas, trucks, vans, and SUVs are not allowed. Specific SAVs from BMW, Porsche, etc. are allowed with permission. The basic 2-day school costs $320 early bird/$350 after. Other package options include a 3-day combo drive for approved drivers, and a Saturday-only option. Students: register by May 17th and receive the early-bird discount! • ** Registration is on Motorsportreg.com ** To begin, visit http://www.motorsportreg.com and create your account. Add 'BMW CCA - North Star Chapter' to your Club Memberships, and our events will show up in the Calendar. NOTE: club membership is required driving schools. • ** Tech Inspection ** Join us on Thursday, May 14th from 5 – 7pm at Imola Motorsports for our complimentary BIR pre-event tech inspection. Imola will inspect all makes and models planning to attend the BIR event for no charge on Thursday, May 14th. NOTE: tech inspection spots are limited; if you intend to have your car inspected for BIR, please select the box at registration. • All drivers must have their car tech inspected in advance of the event and bring a completed tech form with them. Imola Motorsports will also be providing track-side support at the event; THANK YOU! • ** Other details ** We will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites on 371 in Baxter. Our group rate is $99 per night for single occupancy on Thursday night; $139 on Friday and Saturday nights. When making your reservation, mention that you are with the 'BMW Club’; the Holiday Inn can be reached at 888-824-3232. • For Saturday night dinner, we will be enjoying the gourmet fare from Prairie Bay Restaurant.
