GVC Annual Pancake Run

The sap is running, and the cars have thawed, so it must be time for buckwheat pancakes and home-made maple syrup at Cartwrights' Maple Tree Inn. If Covid does not permit eating at Cartrights we'll decide on an alternate destination. We will meet at 8:00 am on Sunday, March 26, at the Quicklee's Travel Center at 2781 Lakeville Rd, just off I390 in Avon NY. Quicklee's has gas, coffee, and easy access to I390. We will depart for Catrtwright's promptly at 8:30 to beat the crowds at the Inn. This is a family-friendly event, and everyone is invited for a fun drive down, and a family-style, all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast. There is no charge for this event, just bring money for breakfast. Bring some warm clothing, as it is spring in upstate NY, and can be a bit chilly! But who knows with this winter, perhaps shorts and flip-flops?? On the way back, we will include an optional drive to Letchworth State Park, the "Grand Canyon of the East", to stop and see the falls and river gorge.
