Summit Point Circuit (aka “Summit Main”) – Summit Point Circuit is a 10-turn, 2.0-mile (3.2 km) road course that features a 2,900-foot (880 m) main straight. Summit Point was the relocated center for club racing in the Mid-Atlantic following the closure of Marlboro Raceway. The original circuit opened in 1969, and the Summit Point Circuit was repaved in the October 2017. Summit Main will offer the highest speeds at Summit Point, thanks to the long main straight. Summit Main has been the host to many professional and amateur races over the years, this is your chance to drive on a bonafide racing surface. Summit Main may seem ‘simple’ at ‘only’ 10 turns compared to the Shenandoah and the Jefferson’s dozen plus; however, Main presents its own unique experience and challenges.
