Making the Ultimate e30 M3 with Simon Lord from Redux

If you want the perfect vintage modern Porsche, you call Singer. If you want the ultimate Jaguar E-Type, then Eagle should be on your speed dial. But who do you contact for the ultimate “restomod” BMW? The answer is Simon Lord, founder of Redux. Simon is a former British Army officer with a passion for all things BMW E30 M3. His company is building a total of 30 fully restored and tastefully modified versions of what is globally recognized as being one of the greatest M cars BMW ever built. Redux aims to take BMW’s original concept - ‘Für die Straße veredelt’ ('modified for the street’) - and envision what BMW might have built after the Sport Evo model. Redux’s first M3 was delivered in 2019 to a lucky customer out West; the second build is due to be unveiled this summer, and is planned to be at the Monterey Car Week and showcase her to BMW CCA members.
