Annual Summer Picnic & Driving Tour

Please join our annual summer BBQ picnic with a driving tour beforehand to whet your appetite! The picnic will be at the picturesque Thomas Fogarty Winery high atop Skyline Blvd. in Woodside overlooking vineyards in the foreground and bay views in the distance. An optional scenic drive out to the coast will take place in the morning, ending at the Winery for the picnic. For the BBQ, the fee is $30 per person for members and FREE to chapter volunteers. The driving tour is free but does require completing the registration form here. The BBQ will feature the following menu items, please let us know if you have a dietary need: Roasted Vegetable Crudite, served with Hummus, Cilantro Aioli & Ranch Dressing Smokey Barbeque Glazed Chicken Slow-Cooked Barbeque Spare Ribs Red Potato Salad Crisp Cole Slaw Barbeque Baked Beans Corn Bread & Sweet Cream Butter Fresh Fruit Platter Assorted Cookies & Fudge Brownies A wine tasting lead by the staff of winery will be provided and is included in the price! You are welcome to purchase anything you enjoy. Here’s a selection of wines available for tasting (and more available in the nearby tasting room) This is a great introductory event for first-time club participants and is also one of our most popular events of the year. All you need is your car and a full tank of gas if participating in the driving tour. The picnic starts at 12p.
