PVGP has been hosted in the Steel City since 1984, and has grown from a one-day event to a multi-day festival of races, car shows, and automotive events which benefits the Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Charities.
Attendees of the PVGP Schenley Park race weekend will be greeted with a 2,000-vehicle car show with food and vendors across the Bob O’Conner Golf Course where spectators (usually numbering close to 200,000) overlook the races (now featuring a total of over 180 historic race cars) held on the city streets below.
The BMW CCA’s portion of PVGP has grown, too; the event is no longer a two—day trackside corral, but a complete four—day program that offers something for every BMW enthusiast and includes driving tours, dinners, and charity hot—lap rides thanks to the BMW Performance Center.
