Selling my rare and beautiful Steel Gray over Tanin Red, 5 spd E46 sedan. Steel gray over Tanin Red combination w/sport seats is absolutely stunning.
Tanin Red was only offered on early E46 non M’s. Only 600 were ever produced for the US market. The car is equipped with highly sought after sport pkg (front sport seats, sport leather steering wheel, M Aero Pkg and sport suspension), premium pkg (power/memory seat and pwr sunroof) and HK sound.
I recently went through the entire car and have replaced all the items which needed attention. Below is the list of all the work done within the last 2,000 miles.
Maintenance - Oil pan Gasket, Engine Oil Level Sensor, Blower Motor, FSR (Final Stage Resistor/Blower Motor Resistor), Windshield Washer Pump, Trunk Lid Hydraulic Lifts, German Auto Solutions DISA valve metal pin replacement, Fuel Filter, Hood Lift Supports.
Suspension - Front Sway Bar Links, ZHP Control Arms, Control Arms Bushings, H&R Touring Cup Kit (H&R shocks/Struts and Lowering Springs), Strut/Shock Mounts and Bump Stops, Driver side Front Brake Caliper, Powerstop Front/Rear Drilled/Slotted Rotors, Extreme Performance Brake Pads/Sensors, Wiechers Sport Steel Front Strut Brace, Ground Control rear strut tower reinforcement plates, ECS stud conversion kit, Uro front strut tower reinforcement plates, Powerflex FCAB.
Cosmetic/Upgrades - New Apex Arc 8 18x8.5 ET 38 wheels, New Dunlop Sports Maxx RT2 245/35/18Tires, New Headlight Lenses, New Headlight Lens Gaskets, New Front Windshield Cowl, New Black Kidneys, New Original BMW ZHP 5 Spd Shift Knob, ZHP Black Cube Interior Trim Set, ZHP Black Headliner and A/B/C Pillars, New Bumper Filler Molding (License Plate Delete), New Rear Ashtray Sliding Cover, German Auto Solutions 1.2 bar radiator cap, Euro Black Short center console (no annoying armrest interfering with shifting!), Hizpo Carplay/Android heat unit, Dynavin HVAC relocation bracket, clear Euro turn signals left/right, AFE cold air intake + Turner silicone intake boot.
Oil Change was performed with Liquimoly 10W-30/Mann Oil filter and K&N filter was washed and oiled @ 147,887 miles. At 121,670 miles-Oil service, Radiator and radiator cap, Spark plugs, cooling system checked, Air intake hose, trans fluid changed, Cooling hoses, Intake manifold gasket and cabin filter.
Car drives like new and handles beautifully. H&R Touring Cup kit is a step above the factory sport suspension but not harsh for everyday driving and provides a nice lowered stance. Inline 6 is smooth and pulls hard and strong to the redline. Transmission shifts smooth and clutch bites hard with no slippage.
Cosmetically there are few exterior blemishes which is consistent with the age. The front bumper has scratches on the bottom. The hood has few small spots where paint is damaged. Few scratches on the passenger front door, on the rear bumper and on the trunk. Couple of minor dents on the outside. Seats have normal wear for 150k miles. No rust anywhere.
