Wow! Thanks for the research! That is so cool! You mean there were fewer than 150 Z4 roadsters kept in the U.S.? (I almost said "imported.") They must all have been sold herein SoCal and SoSo Cal! Monaco Blue would be awesom. I'd love to see that Carbon Black (deeeeeep blue metallic) on a roadster!
Sepangbronze? I swear I have never, ever seen one in that color, but I've seen plenty in Monaco. Heck, I've only seen that color once at all, and it was on an E60 M5.
No, there are 3,041 Z4 M Roadsters in the US, Canada, and Mexico. Were you referring to a specific color? And yes, I'd wager there are tons in California and along the west coast. Since 2006, I've seen 4 other M Coupes on the road here in Chicago, maybe a dozen M Roadsters. Btw, this data is from a file compiled by a user named Wildag over on Bimmerfest; he downloaded all the Z3 M and Z4 M production data from BMWTIS and created a spreadsheet. Anyone can download all the Z4M data here: http://dreamingwell.com/forumFiles/Z4M Production Info.csv.
Built on the same day, which makes me wonder if they were special ordered together. Carbon Black wasn't an available shade in the US, so it's curious...
Looks quite nice on the Z4 shape. My dream Z4 M Roadster would be Sepang Bronze with light Sepang interior and Madeira wood. In short, this exact color scheme:
After seeing that picture, I'm reminded of just how much I like Sepang bronze, especially on a Z4M Coupe.
