Hello all~ I have recently purchased a dream car, ('07 Z 4 Coupé) and have just now joined the BMW CCA, Pine Tree Chapter. In the rear most panel of my trunk, centered between the tail lights, is a purpose-built recess meant to store something—some thing that did not come with the car. It might have been optional equipment the original owner passed on. (I am the third owner.) What is intended to go there? If I were to guess, I'd say it might have stored some emergency roadside equipment--a warning light and/or a reflective orange triangle? Does this ring a bell, anyone?
