I have a 2015 F31 and my daughter has a 2014 F30. Both cars have apparent wind noise that sounds like it is coming from the A pillar or the wind shield. Older boards have mentioned the rear view mirrors and the door moulding among other ideas. Does anyone know of any new thoughts on this annoying problem. A service advisor recently told me they now think it coming from wind disturbance from the "kidneys"!
The best way to diag a wind noise is to take some painters tape and run it along the seals and windows, mirrors and test drive to see if the wind noise changes. The part you tape that changes the noise in the issue.
