This comes from our brothers and sisters in the White Mountain Chapter Still thinking about when your first driving event of 2010 will be? Time to clear your April calendar! Advanced Driving Skills School Saturday April 10 Perfect for all drivers, our ADSS school helps you learn to control your car performs in real life situations. Students advanced car control techniques in the very safe, low speed environment provided for us in the back lot at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Students spend time at our emergency maneuver exercises, skid pad, figure eight and autocross courses. You will learn how your car behaves under emergency braking, lane change, understeer and oversteer conditions -- and most important -- how to correct these by proper use of brakes, steering, throttle, and secondary effects of each. Please check our website at http://www.wmc-bmwcca.org/adss.html for more information about this event and how to register. High Performance Driving Event Friday April 16 Experienced drivers --- and novices looking to move their skills beyond ADSS -- keep Friday April 16 open! This High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) will be held on the challenging 1.6 mile, 11 turn road course at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. You can expect four on-track driving sessions with in-car instruction, as well as multiple classroom sessions. This year the WMC is pleased to provide professional corner workers at all flagging stations, to maximize your enjoyment and safety. And a stylish event t-shirt to show off in later. For all of you still "sitting on a wire" - a reminder that the "early bird" price of $180 expires next Tuesday March 16. See http://www.wmc-bmwcca.org/hpd_school.html for more details.
