Hi all... Just purchased a 2002 330ci convertible and I'm very pleased with it. One thing, however, I'm not too happy with and that's the storage space within the cabin. I need a place for my sunglasses, cell phone, kleenex, writing implements, etc. and find that the door pockets or cup holders aren't the best spots for these things. What are the best places both on and off the 'net to find quality interior accessories such as cargo nets, storage pockets etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Barry Gluck Tustin Ranch, CA
there is an OEM storage piece that replaces the cupholders that is you're like me and don't care about losing the cupholders. The storage compartment has a neat rolling door to conceal the contents like a wallet, iPod or sunglasses,,,,
Like the previous post states there are several "Euro" center consoles available through the dealer or other aftermarket sources that replace the cup holders and coin holder with usable space. To get an idea of what the replacements look like see: http://www.europeanautosource.com/index.php?cPath=67_123_160 Scroll down to the bottom of the first page and you will see three choices. For even more space you could also install a Euro First Aid kit box under either or both of the front seats. These could be considered secondary glove boxes and have quite a lot of storage area in a convenient location. You can see the first aid box on the same link posted above. Hope this helps and enjoy your convertible! Matt
I think there is also a box that is custom fit to the door map pockets (with a folding lid) but I haven't been able to find any pics...
Check the BMW OEM sliding tray compartment that takes the place of the OEM cup holders. Check realoem.com for the part number. Photo is attached of unit.
