Wheel Dolly recommendation, pro & con

    If you're considering wheel dollies, you may find yourself tempted to snag some from your local car-parts store for the convenience and price.

    Do NOT, under any circumstance, buy these ACDelco car dollies.:

    The casters are CR@P, and pretty much make them some pretty paperweights, unless you want to spend a bunch on some decent casters so they'll work the way they should. If you want an exercise in hernia-creation, go for it, and see how much luck you have pushing a car around on 'em.

    In contrast to the above, these work great, and being aluminum, they're that much easier to handle. I opted for the upgraded casters with the wheel locks. Shipping was fast, too, at least to a state away.
