The right wheel of my 2002 3 series is making noise which could mean it is time to replace the bearings. I was quoted a price of 385. (approx). Does this seem reasonable?
If it is the rear wheel then yes. That is reasonable. It is a pin in the butt to do. If it is a front wheel then yes. The labor is easier, but the part is over half the cost of the job.
at least $300 to replace it with labour. any shop can do it if they have the tool. and it can be done only right. so there is no reason to take it to a bmw dealership and spend $600 to change wheel bearing. good luck
