What's the best way to rebuild an E32's leather-wrapped console?

I am mainly talking about the forward part of the middle console. The stitching is starting to get frayed. See photo

You'll most likely have to remove the console and have it rewrapped. That's what I would do, and use this time to customize it the way I'd like it, or just do a straight re-wrap if that's what you're looking for. The console should be easily removable.

Who would do that sort of re-wrapping? Cost estimates?

    Thanks for the info!

Probably an experienced automotive upholstery shop - to re-stitch the leather, it would have to be removed from the console, I would think. Presumably, it's glued - if the leather's thick enough and strong enough (and the glue isn't), it might be pulled off without ripping/destroying the leather. An upholstery shop ought to know what to do and how to do it though.
