The chrome strip above the right rear door (Hoffmeister kink area and above) is coming loose and the plastic tabs that hold it to the body have fallen off. I found a replacement part online for $200, but I don't need the chrome strip - I just need to re-attach it. At this point, I would like to just glue it back to the body but I have no idea how to best do that. Does anyone have ideas on how to "cheaply" fix this minor issue? I appreciate any and all ideas!

If the clips are all that broke you can get those separately. As MGarrison posted above you will need I believe its 15 of the number 14 clips that hold that piece on. This of course is saying that the strip's clip holder are not broken in that case would need a whole new strip. And would advise against glueing it back on seen people do this before and doesn't go well.
