Hi, My daughters car does not have the upgraded interior options that included the little onboard computer and the button on the end of the turn signal stalk to vary the view in the instrument cluster. Does anyone know if installing the upgraded turn signal mechanism with the switch will fit and if so will the additional functions of the computer magically start working? It strikes me that the computer/software can't be that big/costly a change so BMW might have kept the electronics standard and just varied the stalk. Thanks, Phil
it would help to know what car you're talking about but I know that on an E36 you need to swap the computer in as well as the stalk
It looks like this can indeed be done. I found some information on another forum so I'm going to give it a go.
