I have a 95 525iT. I have had it for one year and have 94K miles. Just replaced shocks and upper front end in the last 3 months. The other day i was stopped facing down a hill. When I let up on the brake, slowly, I heard a real loud creaking noise. It was not from the brakes but I suspect from the body, transmission, or engine mounts. I tried this a few more times and got the same creaking. I then turned the steering wheel and got a similar noise if not the same. could it be tie rods not lubricated? Any suggestion on how to narrow this down would be appreciated before I try to fix it or send it to the shop to fix. Thanks, Don
