how long will it take to replace the front struts on my 99 528i and will new bushings on my thrust rods make a difference
I used to have an E34 that my buddy and I changed the front struts/springs/shocks/lower/upper arms, etc... It took us about 5 hours to do one side (our first time) but then 30 minutes to do the other side once we knew what we were doing. So if you are more mechanically inclined than we were, I would say an hour and change. New bushings would make a difference. What is your mileage?
