Hello all, Recently picked up a mint 2002 745li and I am looking to have SIRIUS radio in it. Other than going to the dealer, is there any way to find out if a SIRIUS radio is installed in a car. In my 2007 C230 I was able to press a series of numbers an the display gave me the SID/ID/ESN number. I realize that you have to activate and subscribe to SIRIUS. I am looking to see if the module is already in the car. Many thanks in advance. Michael
If you have a Sirius receiver, there would be a Sirius option in iDrive. You would be able to select Sirius and at least get the not-yet-subscribed stream they broadcast. I´m not at all sure that Sirius was an option for the 2002 7er even via a retrofit.
