   Not in a 335i, but in my 135i. Money well spent. See article in May 2009 Roundel.

   I have it in my 335i (not 335xi). It drives beautifully. I would like it if the stick were a little shorter, but it is perfectly smooth. I also like the look of the shifter. I've had no problems with it after 32K miles.
