2011 328i xDrive sedan, manual transmission, 117,000 miles. I need to replace the rear shocks. Shocks are different for "Sport" package vs non sport. I have not been able to determine if the car has the sports package as none of the VIN decoders I've tried provide this info. Additionally, the VIN decoders each give some wrong info. One recommended in one of these forum posts (bimmer.work) identifies the car as having an automatic transmission. Another VIN decoder indicates the car is a turbo (it is not). So, how do I determine if I have the sports package or not before I purchase rear shocks? Incidentally, the VIN decoder at www.bmwvin.com seems to be the most accurate.

You have an xDrive car. They do ever come with a sport suspension. In fact, the xDrive cars have different shocks AND springs than all others - use that to order.
