If you win, you can put the winnings towards any vehicle you prefer, I believe - as far as I know, you don't _have_ to take the car. I think there have been any number of winners that have opted for the cash equivalent vs. taking a vehicle and the cost of the extra taxes from taking the car. With that as an option, whatever are offered as prizes is irrelevant, but for the price difference in the case of choosing to put the winnings towards something more expensive.
An i3? The only i3 I have ever seen was in Colorado at Ofest. The B6 will be an actual car. Should have no problem selling it if you wish.
