The New Jersey Chapter will be hosting the regional pre-season instructor seminar on Saturday, March 20 at the Grand Colonial in Perryville, NJ. http://www.grandcolonialnj.com/. We will have coffee and pastry from 9-10am the seminar will start at 10 and go to 4pm with a break for lunch.
This year we are pleased to have as our guest speaker Ronn Langford. He spoke at last year's national driving events conference in New Orleans, and received excellent reviews. He is a fun, dynamic speaker. He has many years of experience racing and providing driving instruction. He has a particular interest in training difficult learners.
Ronn is a co-author of the book, "Inner Speed Secrets" and the President and founder of MasterDrive. His company has " developed a broad range of driver training programs - all with an intense focus upon systematizing the most effective teaching and learning strategies. Our goal was to be able to effectively work with teens, seniors, corporate fleet drivers, young people who have functional challenges, and other debilitating conditions."
This seminar is open to all instructors, as well as anyone who is planning to enroll in one of the upcoming ITS programs.
If you plan on staying over night there are some hotels in Clinton NJ., Holiday Inn 908 735 5111 and Hampton Inn 908 713 4800.
