Hello new to this site member since 1998 have a 98 Z3 2000 323 2002 M3 64 325 and have just ordered a new x 3 for my wife would like some imput on x3 from people who have one spend alot of time on Shelby car club website and hpoe to be here also Bruce
Good choice to get a new X3--riding quality greatly improved Dear Bruce, Good choice to have your wife with new X3. I am a owner of X3 since 2004 and tried a new 2007 X3 loaner car the other day. There are so much improvement and changes made since the first version which came out 2003. Needless to say, a more powerful new engine with more milege, a new six speed transmission, etc. But to me the most improved point is a new suspension that gives driver and passengers a greater comfort. The old one that I own has a bad reputation for its choppy and harsh ride. Obviously, BMW put a lot of work to improve its riding quality. So your choice to buy a new X3 for your wife is good answer.
