Dear Members, I have been a member for many years and have participated in BMW CCA/NASA Track Days. My wife and I are both track day drivers and we have started a free online magazine catering exclusively to the track day driver enthusiast. We welcome you to visit our website at www.autotrackdaymonthly.com. The current issue includes, among other things, articles on track cars, track features, reviews on the latest technologies and apps, how-to write ups and other resources for track day participants. Coming in our April issue is an interview with Alan Wilson, the designer of Barber and Miller Motorsports Parks and Circuit Mont Tremblant, a how-to written by Alan with advice on analyzing new tracks, an interview of a time trial driver and race shop owner about modifications for track day cars, an interview with the developer of Harry's Laptimer and other helpful and interesting items. We hope you will visit us. Thanks for your attention. Michael and Ziva

Of course I appreciate what you guys are doing with your online publication - however, there is no need to double-post the same info/clip/post, the forums automatically show threads that have unread posts (by clicking "What's New" under the "Forums" tab), so if you put up a post, those who are following the forums will see all new posts since their last visit, and won't miss what you or anyone else has posted. The forums have a placeholder for BMW NA press releases, you may wish to see if the BMW CCA site manager or webmaster is interested in your assistance with getting BMW NA press releases up in the BMW NA News section. See: https://www.bmwcca.org/forum/index.php?forums/bmw-na-news.279/ Your website has an immense amount of information, haven't had a chance to check it out beyond a quick lookover, which I'll do in more time - however, at least speaking for myself, if you're going to share info here related to your webmag's content, I'd be much more interested in brief blurbs with links on content you're originating - much more so than BMW's press releases, which are of brief & temporary interest, particularly car models, because I'll be reading about them soon enough with much more insight and depth in Roundel, Autoweek, Road & Track, Car & Driver, Bimmer, online sites, etc.
That is great advice. Will do. We have the following original articles: Track designer Alan Wilson at http://www.autotrackdaymonthly.com/index.php/articles-general/featured-articles/trackextras A review of smart phone data and video logging apps and interview with the developer of Track Attack at http://www.autotrackdaymonthly.com/index.php/articles-general/cooldownlap/cooldownlap-articles/30-data-video-logging An interview with the developer of RaceRender video editing software and the smart phone app, TrackAddictHD at http://www.autotrackdaymonthly.com/index.php/articles-general/featured-articles/trackextras An interview with Daniel McCoey who is a time trial driver and a track prep shop owner in Australia on track modifications at http://www.autotrackdaymonthly.com/index.php/articles-general/features/trackcar-technology Reviews of race track facilities NCCAR in North Carolina and The FIRM in Gainesville at http://www.autotrackdaymonthly.com/index.php/articles-general/features/yourtrack Two articles on efforts to reduce street racing by youths at http://www.autotrackdaymonthly.com/...featured-articles/keepingitinthetrackarticles and How To articles on our How To and Getting Started tabs Please check the 13 modules on our home page. Our first reader submission has been published in our magazine. Read about driving instructor Doug Quara's interesting and sometimes hilarious instructing experiences here: http://www.autotrackdaymonthly.com/index.php/how-to-s-main-menu/getting-started "I really thought that in any lap we’d end up running out of room at the exit and do some agricultural activities. But luckily we never did. How many ways can you say “Get up near the wall on the right!! GET UP NEAR THE WALL ON THE RIGHT!!?!?!?”
Auto TrackDay Monthly's upcoming June issue is running a story on vintage racer and writer Burt Levy who says, “I went to see a vintage race to do a story for Auto Week about it and I just fell in love. I mean here were all the cars I grew up lusting after. And it’s not just the doing it. It’s the people and the liturgy if you will – you know of being on the inside where you know the people and you know the cars and you know the stories and the wild characters you run into at racing. Racing is full of some great people. It’s just so much more vivid than everyday life. When you’re on a race weekend, it’s like being on a mission. You know what you’re trying to accomplish. It’s very goal oriented. And then you go back to what I call the mindless slop of everyday life. And you can’t wait to get back to the track.” While you're waiting to read more about Burt Levy in June, if you haven't already, read some of our current articles on brake upgrades, track insurance, track cars, getting started and how-to’s.
