    Hey Guys,
Just joined the CCA! Hopefully I'll be around to make it to a lot of your events and I love the community and culture as a whole and finally made the decision to jump into it! I currently own a 2002 BMW M5 that i bought a few years ago in 2012. I absolutely love the car and its had a few common issues to address here and there but its such a blast and I can't wait to get it to some shows! There are a lot of mods done to the car so I'll list the ones I can remember so far haha:

Imola red II/ Black sport interior with black piano interior trim
    Euro Hella lights
    roof painted BMW Jet Black
    shadow kidney grills
    finned rear diffuser

UUC short shift kit with DSSR
    ultimate pedal set
    Rogue Engineering Delrin shift knob

    Active Autowerks CAI,
    Eurobahn carbon fiber plenum cover
Evolve Stage 5 MAF-less dyno tune

    Schrick 268 camshafts
    SuperSprint headers
    SuperSprint X-Pipe
    SuperSprint 100 cell race cats
    Eisenmann Race mufflers

    Ignition Solution plasma coil packs
    iridium spark plugs
    BHS underdrive pulley system
    Zionsville large capacity aluminum radiator

    Dinan 3.45 differential
Brembo 4 piston big brake kit with stainless steel lines
    open brake ducts w/ grill

Eibach swaybars w/ beast power brackets
    KW Variant II coilovers
    Power Flex polyurethane bushings
    ground control camber plates
LM style wheels w/ stud conversion kit and zinc wheel nuts

I love driving it and it is definitely not cosmetically perfect or a garage baby either! 10688408_362358780589265_2584914544105729962_o.jpg 1596907_253249698166841_272678638_o.jpg 1490829_256884084470069_1911921526_o.jpg

Great looking e39 M5. That series may be the prettiest sedans that BMW has ever done.

Thanks! I really want to pull the heads off and get them more performance oriented...port and polish. BMW could have given customers a little more power out of these S62 motors from the factory unfortunately but still a great car to drive and I plan to keep it for life

Will you always run it NA or will there be a super charger in the future?

I want to keep it as a naturally aspirated car I think I just love the feeling..... but its just a personal preference I know a lot of people go the S/C route for much more horsepower. I don't know when I would do the heads though probably once its higher mileage then I can do a rebuild too and kill both birds with one stone! I know Evolve does head work, and so does VAC but its pricy from them. I know Dinan does it too but they are pretty conservative for port and polish I've heard....
