I need to replace the MAF in my 530, but in researching the part I've found a wide variance in price - from $220 to $400. The low range prices are from internet sites that identify the brand as VDO/Siemens or just Siemens. The high range prices are BMW dealer parts. Are there different brands available out there, or are these all the same part/brand and just reflect different mark-ups. If there are different brands available, are there ones to avoid?
