I'm looking for a list of materials and procedure for changing the rear diff fluid on a e46m3.

    Parts:
    1. Fluid part# 83222282583 (purchase x3 , each bottle is about $30 - $40)
    2. 33117525064 replacement drain plug with ring
    3. 07119932112 washer part for filler plug. (Might not be necessary)
    4. Fluid pump, Sierra Marine Quart pump

    Tools:
    1. 14mm alen wrench/socket for drain plug/fill plug.
    2. Possibly 12mm for new plug.

As for procedure I'm guessing it's pretty simple.
    1. Jack the car up (level)
    2. remove the fill plug (to allow air to replace fluid)
    3. remove drain plug
    4. let drain
    5. replace a washer drain plug
    6. torque drain plug to ???ft-lbs
    6. >>> From Bently manual, drain or fill plug torque spec is:
    6. >>> With O-ring: 60 Nm (44 ft-lb)
    6. >>> With sealing washer: 65 Nm (48 ft-lb)
    7. pump new fluid into differential until the fluid starts to leak out of the fill hole
    8. replace washer on fill plug.
    9. torque the fill plug to ???ft-lbs
    10. break-in procedure of new fluid ???
