Has anyone had experience re-dyeing their leather seats? I have black leather on a 2000 323i that is slightly worn in certain areas and would like to take care of this. If anyone has had good experience repairing their seats, I would appreciate the info.

    Thanks

    past experience with dying leather

My wife had a Mercedes with light gray leather seats which stained from constant rubbing from her leather belt. We had a professional in leather dying dye the area and the seat looked like brand new without signs of the stain.

You might check with your dealer to see if there's someone they can recommend.

I'm not sure what kind of wear you are dealing with but have you tried simply using a leather shoe cream? I know it's available in many different colors - I have used Punch brand and it hides scuffs perfectly in my grey interior.
