So I'm having issues with my instrument cluster in my 1984 533i. The gauges work, minus the temp gauge and occasionally the MPG gauge, but they are are a bit dodgy until after about 15-20 minutes of driving. Before then, the needles just bob along, moving very little. After there is warm air flowing behind the cluster, it all seems fine. The odometer won't roll until then either, so it appears like the cluster isn't getting sufficient power. The gears are not broken. I replaced the batteries with new ones, and the battery connections are clean. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!!
