I picked up/inherited a 1988 635csi for my daughters first car. After doing some research, I now know it is a cooler car than I realized. I am not a car guy, but my neighbor is a mechanic, and willing to help get her up and running. My concern now, is that I find the right parts and do things the right way. She needs suspension, brakes, tires and maybe some new plugs/wires to get her road worthy. After that, a few window motors, a wiper motor, sticky antenna and door handles and some other little things. She has a little rust starting on the front quarter panels that I'd like to take care of, but after a dozen calls, no one seems interested in the job. Also, one other weird thing. She rolls in park? She seems to drive and shift OK, but the emergency brake is needed when in park??? Thanks for any help/advice. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed... Brett Green Bay, WI
