I was curious if anyone has flat towed (using a towbar) an e30, and if so what were the mounting points you used and what other precautions did you take? Thanks.
to tow or not I have owned an e30 and only flat trailered it. AND would recommend this method. For a friend did not and during his towed e30 with front wheel tow only, the transmission changed from neutral to park (auto), never got it fixed right after thatdisaster. At least disconnect the rear/transmission for safety, good luck
You are saying disconnect the drive shaft at the diff? What about where to mount the tow bar to the car?
follow up yes that is probably the best at the differential, may need to remove the front bumper and plastic for the bar connect i am not sure about that, i have an 02 now. a flat bed truck or trailer is preferred. is the tow bar compatible with your model? hope all goes well lets hear how it goes
