That is a great road to drive on, however, the grey and purple (NYS Troopers) are perched everywhere.....You should also try the drive on Rt 218 between West Point and Cornwall :D.

Well, I just paid my $15, so I'm committed.

I was intending to leave Colchester between 05:30 and 06:00 to get up to Saratoga around 08:30 - 09:00. But I'm working with AZ3975 to meet up enroute and may end up with us arriving closer to or a little after 09:00

Is anybody GPS enabled that could give the coordinates for the parking lot where the Patroon folk are meeting?

I have a GPS and know the address of the museum, so it's easy to get there.

We have to work something out; I can't ride with both of ya. Chris is more along the way on the way to the museum and Lance is closer on the way back...

It would be cool for the three of us going together. My wifey will be sleeping on the way up while we all go triple digits.....Though it will be very hard to keep up with the M Roadster:cool:

Well you'll be cruising triple digits; I'll be struggling at triple digits. lol

But at least I'll be more economical. Haha!

    Triple digits??? That's speeding!

Have a safe trip up. TeamStowell's cell number is 518-788-0685 if you need to reach us after 7:45am. Just as I tell my employees, you feel free to call me anytime, but if it is your only call don't waste it on me because I don't post bail! :p

I will be going about 75 in a 65, so I should be fine just like on the way up last time. I stuck on a euro plate on the E39 and "stole" the BMWCCA grill badge from my E28. She is "sleeping" over at my dads place waiting for a new battery/alternator. What time are you leaving your house AZ?

    We weren't serious. lol
Of course I do mean the struggling at triple digits, that's true. ;)

I'm going to leave at 04:30 from my house. I'll probably be there by 05:40, which should provide us plenty of time to get there.

4:30am is what I call dedication. I will probably fall asleep around 11 t'nite after game two between the MUTS and the Yankees. 6 hours of sleep should be great :). I though about washing the car after work, but it might rain in my area overnight. But the E39 is dirty, though since its silver (yes I know everyone says its a boring color, but hey, it looks clean when its dirty, right?) I will just wipe down the style 5's......

Unfortunately, we will be coming in from way different starting locations, so traveling together wouldn't be too practical for one of us. As much fun as it would be to travel together, it will be good to meet you guys when we get there.

I'm still keeping my fingers crossed that the weather will be decent.

    Yeah, that's too true!

How else could you explain making a 330 mile single day trip with gas at >$4.50/ gallon for the premium that my Conforti ECU requires just to go see the vehicles of some other similarly afflicted individuals and hopefully shame the MB folks for their grievous lapse of judgement regarding invitation of our beloved blau mit weiss contingent.

We'll see how the weather goes thru the day and talk about the Mohawk trail before we leave.

OK. I'll see ya there between 05:30 and 06:00.

I'll bring some of my Meguiar's detailing stuff just in case. :)
And also, I'm bringin' a friend. He needs to get outta the house so I figure what better event.
