Should the driveshaft guide bushing fit snugly into the guibo or is there suppose to be some gap around the guide bushing? I purchased a remanufactured driveshaft and the guide bushing is smaller than the hole in the guibo. I am wondering if they sent me the right drive shaft, of course I had to turn the old one in as a core/exchange so I do not have it for comparison. Anyone with experience with a guibo replacement that noticed? it just seems odd
the flex disk or guibo is bolted to the 3 bolt flanges the pin in the middle is considerably smaller than the hole in the quibo. At least everyone I have seen including a few auto's. They come with a metal band around the guibo dont cut it or break it until you have all the bolts through it as it will make changing it difficult. I've used large hose clamps to install the guibo when changing clutches because of that. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.
