Trying to figure out what will my car number be in the TSD. Hopefully it is not my registration number of 510 as I would not even start until after 5PM if I am reading the starting instructrions correctly.
Will this allow me time to finish before it gets dark?
Should I plan on packing dinner and flashlights?
    Thanks,

Two possibilities. One is assigned separate numbers in sequential order for the orderly start. The other is to simply assign you a start time. It will be easy enough. Don't lose any sleep over that.

Typically, at O'Fest, there is a bulletin board area for posting results, notes, notifications, a "pin-where-you're-from" USA/Canada map, and event sign-ups, including the TSD Rally. When you get to O'fest Monday or Tuesday, one of the first things to do after you pickup your registration packet is to find the TSD Sign-up sheet, pick an available start time from the list, and sign up for it. If you have a preference for a start time, the sooner you sign-in for a start time, obviously the more likely it is you'll get it. If you sign up for a specific time much later in the list & the rally participants don't fill up the start times to that point, don't expect to keep that start time - typically the rallymasters will compress the list so all start times will be sequential (ie: you sign up for 9:45, but the most recent prior out time is 9:17, you'll be bumped up to an out time of 9:18). The rallymasters aren't going to have the rally-course workers unnecessarily sitting around, just waiting an extra 1/2 hour for the last car. Your start time will be your car number for the rally, unless they opt to do something different than prior years.
